Hi, I’m Duran, the owner of Dusty Dingo Lawn Mowing & Landscaping.

I grew up between Loganholme and Springwood, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by the outdoors. I started my career working for some of the biggest mowing companies in the industry, learning the trade on massive commercial properties and estates. After years of perfecting my craft, I knew it was time to go independent, and that’s how Dusty Dingo was born.

I’ve always been fast. Back when I worked for Logan City Council, my mate and I would race each other while mowing huge stretches of land. Every single day, for six years, we pushed to see who could finish first - without missing a blade. That competitive mindset made me sharper, more efficient, and more precise than most in the industry.

When it was time to move on, I climbed the ranks in top-tier mowing corporations, quickly proving my skill. By the time I left, I had a glowing recommendation from the CEO, and I knew I was ready to build something of my own.

Now, as a local, independent small business in Loganholme, I bring that same speed, precision, and reliability to every job. Dusty Dingo: Behind The Name

The name Dusty Dingo has been with me long before I became an expert gardener. It was a nickname I picked up years ago, a reflection of my love for the Australian outdoors. Even before I made a career out of landscaping, I was always drawn to the land.

I grew up in Logan, where I spent most of my time outdoors, exploring and learning how to work with the land. My Indigenous roots have further deepened my connection to nature and the environment, shaping how I care for the landscapes I work on.

I’m also a huge dog lover. My two albino Siberian Huskies, Rumple and Winter, are my best mates, aside from my mum. They’re part of the family, and just like a true dingo, they thrive on the best. I feed them kangaroo meat, and they keep me company on every adventure.

The name Dusty Dingo is more than just a business name, it represents who I am.

The Dream:
Landscaping To Land Owner

One day, the goal is to buy a vast stretch of my own Australian land and live off it, completely self-sustained. I would like to have my own family some day and learn more about my Indigenous heritage and give back to Aboriginal communities.

Solar panels, fresh fruit and vegetables, and a life surrounded by nature, family, and dogs. I want to create a space where everything we need comes from the land itself, living in harmony with the environment.

It’s not just about working in the Australian outdoors, it’s about living in the Australian outdoors.
